Biography
Born and rooted in Vienna.
My musical journey began with vocal training under Elly Wright and music lessons with Duncan Lorien. I refined my skills in workshops with Ursula Slawicek, Monika Ballwein, Miriam Papst, Juci Janoska, Carole Alston, James Moore, Carl Panuzzo and Ines Reiger.
Today I mostly perform with my own formations. My main projects: the Doris Schröder Jazz Project, founded in 2016 for mainstream jazz, and the DSTrio (since 2021) for modern Viennese song – both featuring original songs and my personal signature.
